Installation of your new windows. Installation is one of the most important steps in the purchase of your new vinyl windows. In order to ensure proper operation, each window is shimmed to plumb, level and square. Urethane and silicone caulk help seal against water and air infiltration. |
|
|
Sealing the new window and wrapping the exterior molding with cap stock (optional). A vinyl coated aluminum capping trims the exterior of each window. This wrap not only forms an attractive cover from your new window to the existing exterior, it also helps the window frame breate and properly drain water. |
